Product Project Brief:
Targeted towards Hardcore & Casual gamers who play on their PC and/or console. Assume they’re very familiar with competitor products. Assume they’re very tech savvy. They may be familiar with Venmo and other alternative banking/financial services. An internal focus group uncovered the following customer profiles:
• Socialites – Uses gaming to connect with new people. Feels a sense of camaraderie playing squad-based games.
• Achievers – Competition and strategy drive these gamers. May be involved in eSports.
• Fantasists – This group yearns to explore new worlds and abilities that don’t exist in real life.
Solution:
Explore a variety of overarching aspects of the gaming world—from social and cultural impacts to the competitive nature it brings out in its players—allows our concepts to speak to and relate with specific and overlapping target groups.
• Casual Gamers – They play for fun, group, social, or casual imagery, console and controller
• Competitive Gamer – They play to win, single-player focused imagery, PC, keyboard, and headset
